Alyssa and I discovered that we both share the love of snow months ago. We had just got together to discuss how excited her and her husband Brandon are for the birth of the first child. We met over coffee at the Greyhouse on Purdue University’s campus…it is one of my absolute favorite places to go. The night we met was frigid and the snow was coming down hard, and we instantly bonded over our love for that winter weather! Alyssa and Brandon moved here from Minnesota, so they are not shy from the winter wonderland. Alyssa loved the idea of capturing her maternity session amongst her favorite elements, but there was just one problem…we had no idea of knowing when or if we would get a decent snow in time to show off her hot mama bod. I am positive that she had been watching the weather as much as I had been, and feeling defeated every time the snow squalls went to the north or south of us. Alyssa had the red dress ready (after going back and forth between blue and red, Brandon and I encouraged her to rock the red), we just needed the snow! Well, on Valentine’s Day our dream came true, but it also came with a -10 degree wind chill. Did we let the cold defeat us and hope for another day and another snow? No way! We had to seize the moment. We froze our tails off at Purdue University’s Horticulture Park in West Lafayette, IN getting her maternity photos and wowzers, Alyssa owned these moments. Look at the way the light just embraces her and shows off her glow. Alyssa and Brandon will now have these precious moments of their baby growing, frozen in time to enjoy and look back on for generations to come. Alyssa has the timeless moments that she deserves; to see how truly gorgeous she is while her body does the most important job. Stay tuned for baby’s debut!
