“How old will you be Amelia” I say, and she gets a mischievous little smile and quietly shows me her 4 fingers….oh my goodness I just wanted to squeeze her! Look at her gorgeous curls! Amelia’s playful photo shoot took place in the always gorgeous Celery Bog in West Lafayette, IN. It almost didn’t happen. Let me tell you that we have had hardly any rain here..I mean it has been like a desert, but of course you know what happened that day…it poured. I’m not talking a light rain or drizzle…I am talking thunderstorms and torrential downpours. Amelia’s mom and I were literally watching the radar all day waiting for our opportunity…and as you can see from this little ray of sunshine the clouds finally parted. Amelia rocked out to the Frozen soundtrack, and explored the grasses that were almost taller than her! She took time warming up to my presence and I took her for a deep thinker (mom said it’s her stubbornness 😉 I loved the candid looks she gave me, those rich brown eyes full of thoughts and observation. Amelia loves Elsa, she can be caught by mom singing songs she made up on her own while dancing, and she loves to mop! How cute and helpful! Amelia loves her kitties, her favorite foods are hamburgers and oranges, and she loves doing her own hair.
