I met Lucy’s mom Nohemi last year while photographing for Leadership Lafayette, a wonderful community organization that helps develop future leaders and volunteers. Nohemi reached out and let me know how excited she was for Lucy to be graduating and she wanted to capture her Class of 2023 Purdue University Senior Photos! I was thrilled to make Lucy’s senior session the best! We knew campus would be busy and we had lots of locations near and dear to Lucy’s heart, so we gave ourselves ample time to walk campus and get to all the favorite spots including the arches by the Memorial Union, the Engineering Fountain, and the Bell Tower.

I think its awesome that Lucy brought along her lovely parents, sister, and boyfriend. I love the entourage for Lucy! Everyone was just so excited for her, really brought the energy, and enjoyed taking some photos with Lucy to commemorate her time at Purdue University.

Lucy’s Class of 2023 Purdue University Photos would not be complete without getting some shots in front of the history building where Lucy spent the majority of her time earning her degree in History. After talking with Nohemi, it is clear Lucy was getting the degree of her dreams! Lucy is an avid history buff…she works at the stunning Eitleljorg Museum in Indianapolis part time, she loves reading books on history, and can’t wait to start her job at the library! Lucy can proudly represent that she is a “History (Boiler) Maker. As a fellow Boiler myself, I can get super pumped up for her!

Lucy is really looking forward to taking a year off before she goes after her masters in Library and Information Science (prob at Indiana University). Yes, she will go from being a Boiler to a Hoosier….yikes!! But I will put my rivalry nature aside as I wish all the best for this talented young woman. She will enjoy her much needed year off, enjoying the summer, binge watching paranormal tv with her mom and working at the library.
