Indroducing Skylar and Dalton

I had the greatest time photographing Skylar and Dalton’s outdoor homestead Indiana wedding. Throughout the sunny (and very windy) day, we celebrated with Skylar and Dalton’s dear friends and family…and even some furry friends! Be sure to scroll through to see some barn critters! The great love they share, and their personalities were carefully sprinkled in throughout the day..I can’t wait to share some of my favorite details and photos from their joyful outdoor homestead Indiana wedding!

I first met Skylar and Dalton last summer, and we had so much fun going over details for their engagement session, and details for their summer wedding. What really stood out to me, was the fact that their long time family friends were preparing their land to use for the wedding day. These sweet friends worked so hard to bring Skylar and Dalton’s vision to life. Their homestead, located in Westfield Indiana, was the perfect venue! The love they share for the special wedding couple was visible throughout the property.

Outdoor Homestead Wedding Details

Some of my absolute favorite details during Skylar and Dalton’s outdoor homestead Indiana wedding…there are so many…but here it goes!

1. Definitely the homestead property….the custom crafstman built home, surrounded by lush fields, and a barn complete with chickens, a horse…and the friendliest goat I have ever met
2. Skylar’s bridesmaids started out the day by delivering polaroid photos of Skylar to Dalton. As the day went on, the photos became more and more scandalous ha ha!
3. Skylar’s custom jean jacket…absolutely the sweetest!
4. Skylar honored her grandmother in a very special way with her bouqet
5. The overall kindness from Skylar, Dalton and all their closest people…the love was absolutely palpable.
6. The dancing was off the hook, bride and groom being swept up into the air and sharing a cheers!
7. Skylar’s sister caught the bride’s bouquet, and Dalton’s cousin caught the garter
8. The dreamy sunset photos….what I live for!
