Check out this Purdue Graduation Portrait Session with Emily CO 2023! I think if Emily and I had attended Purdue at the same time we could have been the best of friends! We are both a bit Type A, studied biology, and love a good chai tea latte. When we met at the Greyhouse to discuss her Purdue Graduation Portrait Session, she had the hot chai and I had the iced and we chatted like old friends. I found out even later as we traversed all her favorite campus hot spots that we really have even more in common!

I love when my seniors bring their families along! This special session is more than just photos…it really is about the experience. I want my clients to have a blast and make memories while they’re being captured! Emily made sure her mom and her younger brother got to be part of this special experience. I love seeing Emily’s mom helping her get prepped for these photos beneath the Purdue Memorial Union archway.
Emily and her boyfriend Manav met in high school in South Bend and have been together ever since. How sweet that they got to attend high school and college together! I told Emily how my husband and I were also high school sweethearts and now we have been married for 20 years. Just more we have in common ha! These two are so sweet!
Emily is graduating from the Honors College in Biology with a focus in Neurobiology and Physiology…mighty prestigious there Em! Oh and do not let me forget she also minored in Spanish. I am super excited for her future endeavors. She will be spending part of her summer continuing her labwork and getting published. She then plans to apply to med school next year with the hopes of one day being an OB. I have no doubt this woman can do anything she puts her mind to.
Emily and I both love Purdue University’s campus. I am so lucky I still live here and I get to walk my dogs here and enjoy the scenery. Emily admitted one of her favorite things was walking this campus and enjoying the trees, flowers, fountains and landscapes. She noted that when driving you just don’t really appreciate these things visually like when walking. She will definitely miss this campus.
If you run in to Emily, make sure you ask her if you can see the photo of her, Manav, and a couple of their friends dressing up as this very archway for Halloween one year…definitely a creative costume! These two are so fun!
I am so thankful to have captured Emily’s Purdue Graduation Portrait Session! I hope you will join me in congratulating her and wishing her the very best. I certainly hope she enjoys a little time off with some relaxation, some binge watching her fav shows like Grey’s Anatomy and Jane the Virgin….enjoying some Chait Tea Lattes and some good family time before she tackles med school.
I hope you love this story as much as I did and if you would like to see more please check out some other awesome grads here!
