I hope you feel the fun pouring through these photos of the Boardwalk Summer Wedding with Rebecca and Travis! Rebecca and Travis’s wedding at The Boardwalk in Benton Harbor, Michigan did not disappoint! With their closest friends and family they celebrated their love in the most perfect way. Some highlights I will always remember during their big day:

• The groom and groomsmen were seen taking a dip in the river before the day got rolling (I might have photos to prove it…)
• Rebecca and Travis both were just beaming with excitement and two of the kindest souls
• The love for Rebecca and Travis…through the stories told, and the tearful speeches during reception…the love was palpable
• The vegetable garden at the venue is so impressive…and is harvested quite often to provide food for guests
• So much laughter…my cheeks hurt
• The dinner provided by Alex of Gandia’s Catering…incredible, and contained these roasted carrots that were literally just picked from a local farm minutes down the road- might be the first time I photographed carrots
• Sunset photos….wowzers
• So much dancing, so much energy…I didn’t want to leave. Check out the photos of the two gorgeous ladies gettin down on the dance floor and doing “the worm”!! I was so impressed…they killed it!

The Boardwalk Summer Wedding Venue

The Boardwalk, nestled along the St Joseph River is making my top 10 list of venues for a stunning wedding celebration. Small family owned, they have poured their love in to this venue! I walked through the raised vegetable garden multiple times taking notes to improve my own garden. The pergola covered outdoor dance floor overlooks the river, and is enclosed in the most lush plants…so cozy! I loved the custom lighting, and the stunning garden pavilion…just a few of the crafted features Matt and Kathryn have built in to their venue. If you are looking for a wedding venue, it is a must visit!

Rebecca and Travis are on their way to visiting all of the lighthouses of Michigan, they love adventure and checking out new places. I hope you will raise a glass and join me in congratulating them on their lifetime of love and happiness!
