I watched the reflection of the sunset on the glass-like water while I watched my kiddos move smoothly through the lake. I thought of all the times I swam with Leah. We called her a fish when she was young. We grew up in Florida and spent countless hours in the water. I imagined her here with us….The water soothes my soul but it also stirs my emotions.

Arcadia beach in early light….its our private oasis. A place where the dogs can run free to chase sticks and wrestle. My pup is turning out to be a pretty good swimmer. The water, again, is smooth as glass and crystal clear. Watching this trio brings laughter to my heart. The water is so clear and calm that my friend Lynn and I ventured out to see the Minnehaha shipwreck. I think about the men that died here…this place has such a spiritual aura.
